It has been a long time coming. My “portfolio” website (if I can be that pretentious about it) was long over-due for an overhaul. I finally spent something greater than $0 on it, bought a cheap Lightroom Web plugin, printed a bunch of photos, drank a glass of wine (or was it two?), and have now published a self-hosted, somewhat decent set of pictures that I think I’m proud to call a portfolio. And I really want to know what you think of it. For example, am I insane to think someone might be willing to spend $50 for an hour+ of my time? Do you agree with my wife that I am the greatest thing since sliced bread? (I AM SURE THAT”S WHAT SHE’S THINKING RIGHT NOW!@(!!!). No, seriously, what do you think of the website? I’m being very open ended because I want open-ended feedback. Here’s what I posted on Facebook by way of begging for constructive comments:
OK, here’s the deal. I’ve updated my portfolio. I REALLY want honest feedback. I’m a big boy now, and I can take it. Seriously, I’m over 40 now, and I haven’t cried or wet my pants in over a week.

Rest-assured, your ‘like’ will have caused a smile on my face, that will be a lot like a simile.

I like it. I like the alliteration on the landing page, and the overall feel of that page. The individual category pages have nice photo selections, but there’s no real “flow” to them. It would be nice to see the photos progress in some logical way: either from monochrome to color, or the other way around.
