		<description>This is the first of your postings I&#039;ve read, Rick. Thank you. This is a poor place to say it but I&#039;m very sorry that you&#039;ve lost your grandfatehr. I know you were close.

One oddity (of many, I suppose) in my family is that the women in my family have had no living grandfather&#039;s for generations. Jessie had two grandmothers, I had only one grandmother (she was a keeper, though). Grandmother Lillian had only 1 grandmother, and her mother as well. My father&#039;s mother had no grandparents and neither did her mother. I think this takes us back to the 1700&#039;s and no grandpa&#039;s knee for little girls to perch on for stories. Sad, eh? It always annoyed me when my Grandmother would go on about how much my granfather would have loved me and what fun we would have had - but I&#039;ve done the same to Jessie (and added an uncle to boot). Your family with it&#039;s many generations is truly something to celebrate.</description>
