I love how coincidences converge in our lives. Last Thursday at lunch, my coworkers and I started talking about the concept of Jump the Shark episodes in sitcoms. I thought that the original Jump the Shark was in a Seinfeld episode, while someone else claimed it was Happy Days. So I decided to look it up on Wikipedia, and confired that I was wrong. I browsed through much of the article, amused at how many references to the phenomenon there were.

Then today, I sat down in front of the TV that Nathan was watching to hear Velma say “I never thought Scooby-Doo would jump the shark”. He just happened to be watching What’s New Scooby Doo?.
